In the first part of this article, we had started that the surprised attack against the South Sudan Army base in Jonglei state and against the farmers in Upper Nile state by mercenary group of South Sudanese is part of the NCP war against the people of South Sudan.
And the evidence that supports the above argument and assumption are the endless articles which Taib Mustafa writes inciting hatred against the people of South Sudan and calling for continuation of war between the two neighboring countries. Furthermore, the strong evidence that supports the above argument was the article which Taib Mustafa wrote on his newspaper, dated to 30th August 2012, where he had stated that compromise over outstanding and disputed issues should be done after capturing of South Sudan land which the Sudan claims to be theirs.
He went on saying that the Minister of Defense's work is to annex the richest part of South Sudan land to Sudan instead of leading political negotiations with Pagan for Pagan is not a minister of defense according to his statement and political negotiations should be left to politicians but the task of army and their Minister is to liberate the lands and nothing more than that. If the NCP is serious to make peace with the South Sudan, it would call for stoppage of media war between the two countries, as the Sudanese media is not doing what is expected of the media houses preaching about peace to prevail among the people of the two countries.
The NCP would have opened the border on side of Sudan between the two countries to allow the South Sudanese people stranded in Sudan to cross to their country if it really wants war to stop between the two countries. The NCP should cease fooling the world of not supporting the South Sudanese rebels, at the time when Yau Yau forces are destabilizing Jonglei state as a result of the NCP support according to Jonglei state governor.
The NCP should not be a war monger while at the same time present itself as a peace maker by sending its foreign affairs undersecretary to Juba with a peace message, with Taib Mustafa beating the drum of war in Khartoum by calling for annexing parts of South Sudan areas to Sudan through war.
Furthermore, the NCP should not think that South Sudanese do not read Sudan daily newspapers such as Al-Intibaha Newspaper of Taib Mustafa, the maternal uncle of Omer Bashir. The silence of the NCP over Taib Mustafa's incitement writing is an indication that the NCP is not serious to make peace with South Sudan. In conclusion, the government of South Sudan should be alert and vigilant to protect the country from militias of the NCP. We should also focus on how the SAF supported militia had penetrated so deep to Pibor area to attack our SPLA forces and our security people in Jonglei should seek advice from their headquarters in Juba on how to prevent further trouble.
Our security observers and soldiers should keep watch on our border with Sudan and internal movements of the militia and clear they away to protect our territory and people. During the war of independence our gallant SPLA forces were considered as one of the strongest armies in Africa. Our army should maintain that reputation and mere gangsters called militia should not undermine them. They must not allow illegal weapons smuggled into Jonglei state. Our intelligence service unit must be alert and vigilant in Jonglei to prevent penetration of militias to enter South Sudan. The NCP should stop Taib Mustafa from beating the drum of war by instigating the Sudanese army to capture South Sudan areas.
South Sudanese will not allow their areas to be captured though! Those countries such as Russia and China should press on Sudan to accept peace settlement and cease destabilizing South Sudan by supporting militias.
May God Bless South Sudan
