HUGE THANK YOU TO THIS POST, I WAS INSPIRED BY IT: little-lovely-stelena-love.tumblr.com STORYLINE: I think it's pretty much obvious, but I'd like to explain some things. So the story pretty much follows S4, Elena is struggling with being a vampire and Stefan just can't stand seeing her like this because she's not supposed to be this person (therefore, black and white coloring). But Klaus tells Stefan about the cure and there's hope for Elena turn human again (coloring changes to colourful one). But Klaus left out the part that the cure will work only when, for example, Stefan dies, sacrifices himself for Elena. Stefan makes everyone not to tell Elena this because he will do everything to make her human again, that's why Bonnie and Damon and even Katherine don't really want Elena to go anywhere, but Elena still does, she learns about the sacrifice, but she's too late and she sees Stefan dying. The cure works and she becomes human again, but Elena can't live without Stefan and all she does, everything reminds her of him, she dreams of him (black and white scenes) and it haunts her, she can't live without him (coloring turns into black and white again). So one night she goes by the Wickery Bridge and jumps off of it. And they finally see each other again.. in the afterlife. And lights guide her HOME.
