	Kalpana- Save the Girl Child Kalpana - मै' एक हकीकत हूँ। A short film questioning a father's perceptions of having a daughter instead of a son, which in India today is still a major issue in most parts. This story addresses the question, "why save the girl child?" In India, the law in most hospitals still is that Parents expecting babies are not permitted to be told weather they are having a boy or a girl. Why? Because female ones are terminated. With this rule and the parents having to wait to see what their babies gender in going to be, alot of female babies are either killed at birth or left somewhere.
