Man killed in head-on Uxbridge crash

	Man killed in head-on Uxbridge crash UXBRIDGE, Mass., (WPRI) - A man driving a reported stolen SUV from Rhode Island, was killed in a head on crash on Route 122 in Uxbridge, Mass. Friday afternoon. According to the Worcester County District Attorney's Office, police first noticed the Ford Explorer in the Rockdale section of Northbridge. Police attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the driver took off. Police followed the vehicle as the driver continued into Uxbridge, where he crossed into the northbound side of the road and collided with a pickup truck. Police have not identified the victim who was killed. The driver of the pickup truck, 30-year-old Anthony Southwick, of Uxbridge was transported to University of Massachusetts-Memorial Hospital in Worcester with serious injuries. On Saturday the hospital released he is in stable condition. The Worcester County District Attorney's Office, Uxbridge Police and Northbridge Police are investigating the crash with the assistance of the regional accident reconstruction team.
