	One Dead, Three Injured in Head-On Crash - Cotuit (Barnstable), MA (08-12-12) One person was killed and three people injured in a head-on crash on Route 28 in Cotuit shortly before 11 last night. Just before the crash, Mashpee police alerted Barnstable police to be on the lookout for a pick-up truck reported to be driving erratically on Route 28, heading for Cotuit from Mashpee, said Barnstable Sgt. Michael Riley. Police are not releasing the names of the victims at this time, he said. The accident occurred near 4300 Route 28, and the highway was closed until 12:30 as victims were removed and a police accident reconstruction team was called to the area. The accident is still under investigation, Riley said. One passenger was taken to Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, another to Falmouth Hospital and the third to South Shore Hospital in South Weymouth.
