| A High Court to force a public inquiry into the treatment of Iraqi detainees has concluded. Lawyers representing 192 victims who were allegedly unlawfully killed or tortured, say the actions of British forces in Iraq amount to a systemic failure which should be properly investigated. The MOD says a public inquiry would be 'premature' and take a longer than investigations by its own internal team. Judges are expected to take several weeks to issue a decision. Forces News has been speaking to the man who was the UK military's key legal advisor in Iraq during the conflict.
