| Reg Presley, a bricklayer-turned-singer whose ebulliently lusty vocal on the Troggs' smash hit "Wild Thing" helped elevate the song to rock 'n' roll legend, died on Monday at his home in Andover, England. He was 71. His agent, Keith Altham, said Mr. Presley, who had lung cancer, died after a series of strokes. "Wild thing, you make my heart sing," Mr. Presley rasped in a voice that spoke as much as sang as the song grew more suggestive: Wild thing, I think you move me But I wanna know for sure. So come on and hold me tight. | From: Aarati Nambiar Views: 0 0 ratings | |
