Russian security forces killed three armed militants during a special operation in the Dagestani town of Khasavyurt on Tuesday. A shootout began after the militants, who were holed up in an apartment, refused to surrender. Two children who were inside the apartment were taken out after negotiations, but their mother refused to exit.
