After 9 years of married life the Kalavati fell in love with Vinod. Later both decided to elope and start a new life. For this Kalavati took ornaments worth Rs. 3.5 lakh and 35000 cash with her. However, the couple came to Junagadh from Rajkot and later Vinod out of greed of money killed Kalavati by strangulating her. However, the mystery of this murder was resolved by the mobile phone and memory card that was trace from the spot. This helped police nabbed the absconding accused.
