An anti-missile battery intercepted two rockets, while another one landed in an open field. Sirens sounded off for the fourth time this week in Tel Aviv at 10:30 in the morning. A large explosion sound was heard several minutes afterwards. Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. A shrapnel from one of the rockets damaged a car in the neighboring city of Holon. Other than that, no further damages or injuries were reported. The anti-missile battery was deployed near the city on Saturday morning, following an escalation in the fighting between militant groups and Israel, and it had intercepted at least one rocket launched towards Tel Aviv on Saturday. Earlier on Sunday morning, two residents in the southern city of Ashkelon were lightly injured by shrapnel as a rocket hit their house. Damages have been caused to the building. The Israeli Operation Pillar of Defense in the Gaza Strip has entered its fifth day. On Saturday evening, speculation over a cease fire agreement brewing, mediated by Cairo, started to surface.
