	Mists of Pandaria Beta - Alani Killed and Looted! Confirmed as the new TLPD/Aeonaxx After many days of grinding I finally collected 10x Skyshards and combined them into 1x Sky Crystal. This crystal allowed me to remove Alani's Nimbus Shroud immunity buff in order to attack him. When killed he dropped Reins of the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent. This pretty much confirms Alani to be the MoP version of the TLPD/Aeonaxx. Unlike the other rare mounts though, the Thundering Ruby Cloud Serpent can't simply be learned and used. Atm on the beta it requires exalted with two factions to be able to be mounted. First is the Order of the Cloud Serpent (to learn Cloud Serpent flying) and second is the August Celestials. This means not only do you need to grind many days for Skyshards, but you also need to spend weeks grinding reputation with the factions in order to use it. I'm guessing this mount will be a rare sight for some time after the release of MoP if the requirements remain the same. Btw, the reason I already have this mount is that it was given to everyone several patches ago (for testing I guess). If you have the beta you may have seen them around :) Good luck mount collectors.
