	7 Children Perish in Fire in Germany Seven children killed in major fire Eight people were killed Sunday in a house fire in southwest Germany. Seven of the dead are children. Three other children were taken to the hospital after the fire in residential block in Backnang near Stuttgart. The age of the deceased is unknown, but the victims are of German origin, according to news agency DPA. Turkey's ambassador to Germany has plans to travel to the fire site. - I and my husband was awakened by fire trucks. We heard so many sirens that we realized that there was something serious going on.
