Xinhua, June 23, 2012 5 cyclists killed in car crash in E China An elderly driver in a white Lexus mowed down a group of cyclists in a horrific accident. Five people were killed when the car ploughed into a group of cycling enthusiasts in Yantai City in east China's Shandong Province on Friday. The accident happened at about 2 pm when a white Lexus veered and crashed into the group of more than 20 cyclists outside Yantai University, according to witnesses. The cyclists were attending a riding activity to mark the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival when the accident happened, witnesses said.
