Violence in Nigeria

A recent bomb explosion has killed six and injured six others in the Nigerian state of Borno after the Jummaat prayers. Borno is the original base of the Boko Haram group, and has been the scene of perpetual violence resulting in serious violations of human rights. Hundreds have been killed, thousands have been displaced, women have been raped and Muslims have been forced to change their prayer pattern for fear of attack from both the Boko Haram and the joint military task force. On this week's INFocus, we will try to find out how Borno, an ancient civilization, has turned into a battlefield.
