In an interview with The Sun the 69-year-old brother of the former heavyweight champion also says Ali's impending death is being made worse by the boxer's wife Lonnie. Rahman says the legend would be 'mad as hell' if he knew how his wife had been tearing the family apart and says he hopes his brother dies to escape the suffering. "My brother can't speak — he doesn't recognise me. He's in a bad way. He's very sick," said Rahman. "It could be months, it could be days. I don't know if he'll last the summer. He's in God's hands. We hope he gently passes away." Rahman last saw Ali last July at a public event and is now only allowed to speak to his brother via phone - blaming Ali's fourth wife for keeping them apart. And now he just hopes he is able to see his brother again before he dies. "I cry because it hurts me, it breaks my heart. I hope to see him again alive, but I can only hope." "He's going to heaven, there's no doubt. If his funeral was tomorrow, all the statesmen of the world would turn up. He touched everyone from the rich to the poor," Rahman said.
