A baby delivered after his parents were killed in a Brooklyn hit-and-run accident died early Monday, Isaac Abraham, a community leader and neighbor of the dead couple, says the infant succumbed to his injuries at about 5:30 am at Bellevue Hospital. He said the child, about three pounds, sustained brain and other internal injuries. Police are trying to track down the driver of the BMW that slammed into a livery cab in Brooklyn, killing the couple who were expecting their first child. Detectives believe they know the driver's name, and are showing his photo to possible witnesses. Meanwhile, the woman who had co-signed the BMW's lease is charged with insurance fraud. 29-year old Takia Walker of the Bronx is charged with allowing a third party to use the vehicle without notifying the insurance company. Walker allegedly acquired the car under false pretense, and let a third party who was not on the insurance drive it. The BMW slammed into the car carrying Nachman and Raizy Glauber, both 21, at an intersection in Williamsburg. The engine of the livery car ended up in the backseat, where the pregnant woman was sitting before she was ejected, Abraham said. Her body landed under a parked tractor-trailer, said witnesses who came to the scene after the crash. Nachman Glauber was pinned in the car, and emergency workers had to cut off the roof to get him out, witnesses said.
