Queen Elizabeth hospitalized, What Happens when the Queen Dies ?

Charles becomes King immediately on the death of his mother. The Royal Oath, the proclamation, and the Coronation all occur after he is King. It is very possible that after Queen Elizabeth dies some of the commonwealth countries will elect to become republics. I think they have not done it because of the general popularity of the Queen. Assuming Charles outlives his mother, he will be the oldest person to assume the monarchy from a parent. In five years he will surpass William IV who received the crown from his brother at age 64.
