| Unfortunate Four UNIPORT Students Killed In ALUU Nigeria Murder of Uniport 4 Report and Update: 10:00AM, EST, October 8, 2012 details of information regarding the cold-blooded murders of four students of Uniport around Friday, October 5, 2012. We are drawing historical and global parallels on how a responsible and responsive government should react to such an incident, and we are forwarding our research products and recommendations to the officials of the Nigerian Government and those of the Rivers State on how to respond. The leaders of that mob have deliberately engaged in a campaign of falsehood and calumny against the murdered students, calling them armed robbers to cover-up or justify the dastardly act of their slaying. Government must respond for the additional reason of the need to restore some measure of confidence in the Nigerian law enforcement authorities to avoid further breakdown of law and to avoid a retaliatory violence to avenge what happened. A case in point is that the students of Uniport, whose colleagues had just been so gruesomely murdered are itching to visit their wrath on the Aluu community. Such a development could confound and even endanger any credible investigation into these crimes. The Government must therefore not only act quick, but also act wisely and be fully resourced in its response.
