	US casualties in Afghanistan on the rise Three more US soldiers have been killed in a Taliban attack in eastern Khost province of Afghanistan. They were on patrol along with Afghan forces when a bomber riding a motorbike approached them and detonated his explosives. Six civilians were also killed. Scores of others wounded.
