Egypt - State of Emergency - Egypt's President Morsi Declares

Egypt's president Mohammed Morsi has declared a 30-day state of emergency in three areas hit by days of violent protests. At least 50 people have been killed and hundreds injured in the latest violence. Among the areas where the measures have been imposed is Port Said, where seven people died in the latest clashes on Sunday. A curfew is also in place in Ismaliya - where at least one person was killed during unrest on Friday. The 30 day ruling applies to Suez as well, where more riots over the weekend which left six people dead. Al Jazeera's Mike Hanna reports from Cairo.
