Huge Grey's Anatomy Spoiler: [SPOILER] Dies! - Wetpaint

It was previously spoiled that a long-time, beloved character is going to die in early January, and now, thanks to TV Guide, it appears we know who it is.

TV Guide reports that Adele (Loretta Devine), Richard's (James Pickens Jr.) Alzheimer's-suffering wife, will die this season. Her last episodes will air in December and January.

Loretta Devine told TV Guide that her final scenes were extremely "painful" to film, and we have a feeling they'll be just as painful to watch. Adele and Richard's story has been a complicated and moving part of Grey's for a long time, and while Adele's upcoming death isn't a surprise, we're not sure if we're emotionally prepared.
