Jimmy Kimmel Slams Jay Leno: 'He Totally Sold Out' - Hollywood Life

Jimmy Kimmel Jay Leno Feud

The late-night gloves are off: Jimmy says he has 'disdain' for Jay in a surprising new interview.

Apparently switching time slots makes Jimmy Kimmel cranky, because in a new interview with Rolling Stone, the late-night host comes out swinging — for no apparent reason, but whatever — at Jay Leno. And he hits low. Like, below the chin.

"As a comedian, you can't not have disdain for what he's done," Jimmy tells the mag. "He totally sold out. He was a master chef who opened a Burger King."

And this isn't the first time Jimmy has targeted Jay! He famously impersonated the chinned wonder back in 2010, portraying him for an entire episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!

How Jimmy Kimmel Feels About David Letterman & Jimmy Fallon

While Jimmy goes H.A.M. on Jay in his interview with Rolling Stone, he has decidedly nicer things to say about some of his other late-night competitors — specifically David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon.

"If I beat David Letterman in the ratings, does that mean I'm better than Letterman?" he asks (himself, apparently.) "No f*****g way."

On the subject of Jimmy Kimmel, he says people will compare the two "for years to come" — presumably because they're both named Jimmy, I guess — and that he welcomes the competition.

"He's a very worth competitor," Jimmy says.

Jimmy doesn't appear to give his opinion on Craig Ferguson, but I assume that's because he doesn't deem himself worthy of even name-dropping such a flawless late-night creature.
