Townsend man dies in ATV crash Associated Press

A 61-year-old Townsend man has died in an all-terrain vehicle crash on a dirt road near Townsend

The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was traveling downhill on Little Cottonwood Road at about 4 p.m. Tuesday when he lost control on the rutty surface. The ATV overturned and the driver was found deceased. He was not wearing a helmet.

The man's name hasn't been released.
