	To the Courts: The Legacy of Copperguy Don Boyer On year ago today 7/11/2011 my friend was killed by a drunk driver while riding his motorcycle. Unfotunatly was my plead to the courts to make the right decision when ruling on his case... Don was a fellow YouTube member, devoted family man, Marine, and a friend of mine. There isn't a week that has past that Don and his family have not been in my thoughts. Almost daily I ride my motorcycle, and almost daily Don is there with me at some part in the ride. Since this day a year ago, I ride more cautiously and am more alert about what is going on around me... So sad. Dod, we all miss you man! Don Boyer ,or Copperguy as he was affectionately referred to as, tragically died when a van being driven by an impaired driver pulled out directly in front of him on his way home from his job as plant manager at a recycling facility. I can still remember that fateful call from Debbie. For those of you that don't know, Debbie was Dons highschool sweetheart and wife of over twenty five years, it was a call that everyone wishes they never receive, I can't imagine her pain, yet she showed such strength of character relating to the events that have changed both her and her childrens lives forever.
