Heavy rainstorm in China cause FLOOD: Dozen killed and MILLION need to evacuated Floods and mudslides continued to strike rural and urban areas in central and southern China, killing dozens and forcing residents to evacuate, China's state broadcaster CCTV reported. Rain-triggered floods have killed 10 people and affected over 2 million others in central China's Hubei province. Rainstorms in Guizhou Province have also left at least 11 people dead and affected over 900000 others since Wednesday. Reportedly most of the deaths were caused by mountain torrents, landslides and avalanches triggered by rainstorms.
