Tony Scott Has Killed Himself by Jumping from a Bridge in LA

RIP:Top Gun movie director Tony Scott has killed himself by jumping from a bridge in Los Angeles, according to a coroner in America. The British film-maker, 68, was seen parking his car on the Vincent Thomas Bridge and jumping into the water below at about 12:30pm local time. His body was recovered by police from the harbour. The director lived in Beverly Hills and was married to the actress Donna Scott, with whom he had twin sons. Mr Scott, originally from North Shields, was the younger brother of producer Ridley Scott. The pair were co-producers on the TV dramas NUMB3RS and The Good Wife. There had been reports that Mr Scott and Tom Cruise were working on a sequel to Top Gun.
