WW3 in ACTION: ROCKET FIRE & AIRSTRIKES bring CHAOS to Gaza & Israel in Cross-Border ATTACKS

WW3 in ACTION: ROCKET FIRE & AIRSTRIKES bring CHAOS to Gaza & Israel in Cross-Border ATTACKS Tens of thousands of Israelis are spending the day in air raid shelters and schools have been closed after more than 50 rockets and mortars were from fired from Gaza. At least four people were wounded in the attacks which followed Israeli air strikes on what the Israeli Defence Force said were "terrorist cells" in southern Gaza, after a group of men fired a rocket. There have been days of firing across the border by both sides and tensions are rising. At least three Palestinians have been killed in the past two days and were thought to be from the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC). Israel's Iron Dome defence system intercepted seven rockets fired at Ashkelon but many others landed in residential areas. Hamas' military wing and the PRC both claimed responsibility for the attacks. Neither group has guided weapons so their missiles are fired indiscriminately towards Israeli towns. Some hit houses or other buildings, some land in farmland. School has been suspended in the regional council areas of Eshkol, Shaar Hanegev and Sdot Negev, which border Gaza. Schools were also reportedly closed in Gaza. Residents who fled to bomb shelters when the firing began at 4.45am were instructed to remain inside fortified spaces. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his country would deliver a strong response to today's attack. "We will fight and we will hit them very, very hard," he said.
