Here's your wrap of the week in the war on women:
It may be election season, but that doesn't mean our representatives in Congress are only out on the campaign trail. Some of them are introducing and fighting for legislation designed to protect pregnant workers from employment discrimination. Not surprisingly, they're Democrats.
Title IX continues to produce success story after success story, including the first female quarterback at this Florida high school.
That story, however, doesn't make up for this one on Florida sending disabled babies to nursing homes.

For a moment, it looked like women's health advocates had scored another win as the Virginia Board of Health originally exempted existing abortion clinics from burdensome new TRAP regulations. Not ready to call defeat, anti-choice Gov. Bob McDonnell and his right-hand-man Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli pressured members of the board until they changed their vote. Because that's how democracy works, right?
Forcible rape makes a come back, this time in New Mexico.
It's pretty simple, really. If women and minorities show up to the polls and are able to vote, President Obama will be re-elected. Which is why the Republicans are pushing so hard for voter ID.
