Video 22 Killed in Egyptian Football Riot

See video: Strong reactions in Port Said on death sentences in Cairo. During a football match between the teams Al-Ahly and Al-Masry in the city of Port Said in Egypt northeast violent riots broke out in February last year. 74 people were killed and over 1000 people injured when supporters of Al-Masry stormed the field after the victory over the rival team. The situation was completely out of control, and the army was put into Port Said prevent new clashes. Supporters of Al-Masry Al-Ahly and are familiar foes. Al Masry won 3-1 against Al-Ahly, and according to eyewitnesses, started unrest when Ahly fans at the end of the fight unfurled banners that insulted Port Said. Al-Masry supporters responded by storming pitch and attacking Al-Ahly players and fans, and threw stones and bottles at them. Many have been trampled to death. Several police officers were among the dead.
