A Chinese villager has died after detonating an explosive inside a government building in eastern Shandong province. Wheelchair-bound Qu Huaqiang set off the home-made explosive on Monday morning local time, at the Tengjia township government building. The blast killed Qu and injured six local officials. After the suicide attack, a will was circulated over China's Internet, reportedly left behind by Qu. He was a construction worker at a state-owned company. In 1994 an industrial accident left him semi-paralyzed. Qu claimed he was forced to set off the explosives, because he had not been able to get compensation from his former employer, and local officials also ignored his appeals. Tenjia township police told NTD they're still investigating the explosion.
