Forgetting the 'Holocaust'

Here it is, then, the controversial one that I made so long ago that I have changed my mind about the issue a bit, but never mind - if it stimulates thought then it will have done some good, even if it may not represent my own views perfectly. Brace yourself. This one is not like the others. I shot this in 2010, but delayed uploading it, because I wasn't sure whether it belonged on my channel. It is humour-free, and does not sit happily alongside my other videos. My subscribers might find it a bit heavy. Viewing it now, I think it still articulates my view on this reasonably well, although there is one major thing I would change were I to reshoot it - I would not use terms like 'extermination camps' or 'death camps', because 'work camps' or 'concentration camps, or 'forced labour camps' are more accurate. The people sent to these camps were not sent there solely in order to be killed. They were sent there to be forced to work for years as slaves. The dead bodies and the inmates alike, when the camps were liberated, were emaciated. It takes a long time to get that thin. Being gassed might be regarded as more merciful than being worked to death over a few years in a living hell. www.LloydianAspects.co.uk
