	IGEO TV Turkey Syria Tensions The town of Akçakale "was hit by artillery fire belonging to the Syrian regime forces. The shells exploded after being fired into Akcakale from Tall al-Abyad in Syria. Five people were killed, including a woman and her three children. Turkish armed forces on the border responded immediately to this atrocious attack within the rules of engagement, and points in Syria determined by radar were hit. Turkey's parliament has authorised troops to launch cross-border action against Syria, following Syria's deadly shelling of a Turkish town. Turkey's PM has said his country has no intention of starting a war. La ciudad Turca de Akçakale recibió impactos de artillería procedentes de la vecina localidad siria de Tall al-Abyad.
