India may protest to Pakistan about killed soldiers PLEASE NOTE: THIS EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL Amid rising tension here in the disputed region of Kashmir, the Indian army says it may convey strong resentment to Pakistan over the alleged killing of two soldiers. An Indian army spokesman says there are many options in discussing the case with Islamabad. SOUNDBITE: PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (PRO) OF THE INDIAN ARMY, COLONEL JAGDEEP DAHIYA, SAYING (English): "As also, when deemed appropriate, through the government of India, we will take up the case with the government of Pakistan." India accuses Pakistani troops of crossing a line dividing the area and says two soldiers were killed in a firefight. One of the bodies was reportedly found "badly mutilated". A spokesman for the Pakistan army says the allegations are meant to divert attention from an earlier clash that killed a Pakistani soldier. The countries have fought three wars since their independence in 1947, two of them over the region of Kashmir.
